Powder-water jet cleaning

With the powder-water jet device, discoloration and pigment deposits are removed from the tooth surfaces by a mixture of water and air to which a cleaning powder (calcium carbonate, sodium bicarbonate or glycine powder) is added. Such deposits are caused above all by smoking and by drinking tea and coffee. The pressure of the water jet combined with the cleaning powder cleans the tooth surfaces. The jet also reaches difficult places (deep spaces between the teeth and deep gum pockets). What matters then is that a particularly gentle powder such as glycine is used on these sensitive surfaces
